The right technology, chosen for the right reasons, not for hype.
Digital strategy, technology roadmaps and external technical leadership for SMEs and startups. No vendor bias: only solutions tailored to your business. From Perugia to all of Italy.
Digital consulting for small businesses and startups: strategy, technology choices, roadmaps and, when needed, a fractional CTO with no ties to vendors or platforms. A session starts at €90/hour, an audit with roadmap at €600 and fractional CTO support at €500/month.
I don't sell you software. I help you choose it.
Digital consulting is often confused with selling services or with "doing everything". It's neither. It's the phase where you think before acting — and that phase alone is often worth more than the execution.
// WHAT GOOD DIGITAL CONSULTING DOES
Analyses the current situation without assuming the solution
Translates business needs into understandable technology decisions
Builds a roadmap prioritised by goals and real budget
Tells you when a tool isn't needed and when it's essential
Stays by your side while others execute the project
VS
// WHAT IT ISN'T (AND SHOULD MAKE YOU RUN)
Selling the solution before even understanding the problem
Always recommending the tool with the best commercial margin
Producing buzzword-filled slides with no concrete actions
Complicating what could be simple to seem more indispensable
Vanishing after delivering the document, without supporting execution
Digital consulting in Perugia
Where are you starting from?
/ SCENARIO 0101
I have an idea but don't know where to start
You have an idea for a product, digital service or automation, but don't know whether to build it with a no-code tool, a CMS, a custom web app or something else. Before spending, it makes sense to understand which path best fits your goal, budget and in-house skills. A consulting session here is worth thousands of euros of development in the wrong direction.
/ SCENARIO 0202
I have too many tools and none works well
You use 8 different tools that don't talk to each other, pay for subscriptions you use 20% of, and every simple process means jumping between three platforms. An audit of your current tools identifies what to drop, what to integrate and what to replace — cutting costs and operational complexity in one go.
/ SCENARIO 0303
I have a project in progress that's going wrong
You commissioned a website, app or system from someone and things aren't going as planned — timelines slip, features don't match expectations, the budget has exploded. Stepping in as an external technical figure with a neutral eye helps understand where something broke and how to recover without starting over.
/ SCENARIO 0404
I have a team but no technical direction
Your company is growing, you have developers or digital collaborators, but nobody coordinates technology decisions, sets standards and keeps the roadmap on track. I can act as a part-time fractional CTO — present in strategic decisions without the cost of a full-time hire.
What digital consulting includes
Analysis, strategy and decisions that hold up.
No abstract theory — concrete deliverables you can use the next day to make decisions or brief whoever executes.
Digital audit of the current situation
A systematic analysis of website, tools, digital processes and online presence. What works, what wastes resources, what's missing. Not a generic list of problems but an assessment with estimated impact and clear priorities.
Prioritised technology roadmap
An action plan with phases, timelines, estimated costs and dependencies between activities. Not a wish list — a logical sequence that accounts for the real budget and the expected impact of each phase. Updatable over time.
Tech stack selection
Which CMS, which framework, which e-commerce platform, which automation tools. The right choice isn't the trendiest — it's the one that lasts, that your team knows how to use and that doesn't create a vendor lock-in that becomes a problem in two years.
Technical brief for developers
If you hand execution to others, I give you a precise technical brief that minimises ambiguity with whoever builds it. Functional specs, proposed architecture, acceptance criteria. Less ambiguity = fewer unexpected costs.
Part-time fractional CTO
An ongoing presence in the project: reviewing developers' deliverables, joining strategic meetings, deciding on stack changes or new features, mentoring the in-house tech team. The strategic thinking you can't afford full time.
Vendor analysis and selection
Choosing between 3 agencies that sent you wildly different quotes? I help you read the quotes, understand what's included and what isn't, and ask the right questions before signing. No conflict of interest — I'm not the one executing, I evaluate on your behalf.
Digital process optimisation
Mapping the internal processes that touch digital (onboarding, sales, support, reporting) and identifying where to automate, simplify or cut unnecessary steps. The result is measured in hours saved per week, not in theory.
Technical review and validation
Already have a project in progress and want a second opinion before going on? I analyse code, architecture, stack choices and current developers' deliverables. I tell you honestly what's done well, what's a risk and what should change before it becomes a problem.
Training and knowledge transfer
Not depending on me more than necessary is part of my job. I train your team on the decisions made, explain the reasoning behind every technology choice and leave you in a position to continue on your own — or with anyone else.
What you get when you think before acting.

IT consulting for SMEs and startups
For those making digital decisions without technical guidance.
Digital consulting is for those who decide — not those who execute. Entrepreneurs, managers, founders: people with the responsibility but not always the time or skills to evaluate technical options.

From problem to the right decision.
01INTRO CALL · 30–60 min · free
See whether I can help
Before any commitment, we talk about your situation. I tell you honestly whether there's value I can bring or whether your problem has a simpler solution that doesn't need consulting. If you're not the right client for this service, I tell you right away — without wasting your time.
02AUDIT / DISCOVERY · 3–7 days
In-depth analysis of the context
Depending on complexity: a structured questionnaire, access to tools and analytics, interviews with the team, review of existing code or deliverables. The goal is an objective, complete picture before making any recommendation.
03STRATEGY · 3–5 days
An action plan with clear priorities
A structured document: current situation, problems identified with estimated impact, reasoned recommendations, a roadmap with phases and costs, criteria for measuring success. Not a PDF to forget in a drawer — an operational document guiding the next 3–12 months.
04SUPPORT · optional · ongoing
Presence during execution
If you wish, I stay available during implementation: periodic check-in calls, deliverable reviews, answers to technical doubts, roadmap updates when priorities change. A light but constant presence is often worth more than one big initial intervention followed by nothing.
Three consultations, three different situations.
Project scenarios: realistic examples built on the work I do most often. They don't name clients or report results — they show how I work.

If you know exactly what you want to build and are looking for someone to build it, you need execution — website, web app, e-commerce. If you're not sure what to build, which platform to use, how to prioritise the budget or why a project isn't going as planned, you need consulting first. The two aren't mutually exclusive: often you start with consulting and then move on to execution. The free intro call exists precisely to understand which path makes sense for you.
Yes — and that's often the most useful case. You don't need to understand how a database works or the difference between React and Vue. You need to understand the implications of technology choices for your business: costs, timelines, risks, dependencies. Translating technical language into business terms — and vice versa — is a central part of consulting. We start from what you want to achieve, not from what you already know.
It's a fair question. Being vendor-agnostic is a principle, not an automatic promise. The fact that I can build a website doesn't mean I'll always recommend a custom one — Webflow, Squarespace or any other solution that doesn't involve me in the execution might make more sense for you. What I guarantee is transparency: when I consult, I also tell you when the best solution is something I don't build, and point you to whoever does it best.
Yes, and it's one of the most effective uses. Getting 3 quotes from 3 agencies with wildly different figures and approaches is disorienting if you don't have the tools to read them. In one or two sessions I can help you understand what each includes, which questions to ask before deciding, which red flags to look for (prices too low, vague promises, missing technical specs) and which offer best fits your real goal.
Absolutely, and it's the most common path. The initial consulting defines what to build, how and in what order. If at the end of that process you decide to hand me the execution too, I start with a huge advantage: I already understand your business and priorities, and the technology decisions have already been made. This shortens onboarding, removes the weeks of "figuring out how the company works" and leads to a final product closer to what you really need.
It lasts 30 minutes and is about seeing whether there's a match between your problem and what I can bring. I ask you to describe the situation, what you've already tried and what you expect. I listen, ask questions, then tell you honestly whether I can help, how, and with what kind of path. If I'm not the right person, I tell you right away — no commitment and no time wasted on sales proposals. No pressure, no pitch, no "think it over and let me know".
Digital consulting in Umbria and across Italy
From Perugia, consulting wherever you are.
I'm based in Perugia but offer digital consulting to businesses and professionals across Umbria: Perugia, Terni, Foligno, Spoleto, Assisi, Gubbio, Città di Castello, Umbertide, Orvieto, Narni, Amelia, Bastia Umbra, Corciano, Marsciano, Deruta, Castiglione del Lago, Norcia and every other town in the region.
90% of the work happens remotely — which means I work with clients all over Italy with no geographical limits. Digital strategy is discussed on calls, documented online and put into practice with the right tools: geography doesn't enter the equation.
